  • Elves’ Workshop — Christmas craft experience in Elves Village, Levi

    Why this stands out

    • Self-paced program: choose the 500 m route or the full 1 km adventure trail through the snow-covered forest
    • Hands-on throughout: gingerbread baking, Christmas crafts, a word mystery and Santa’s walk-through home
    • The talking tree audiovisual exhibition brings Lappish stories to life in soft, atmospheric light
    • Guests can extend their visit with the restaurant, gelato factory and souvenir shop after the program

    The program

The day starts at the Visitor Center, where the elves hand out the secret map of Tonttula. The map leads along the Elves’ Paths through the snow-covered forest to the Elves’ Hideaway. The shortest route is about 500 metres; the longer adventure trail is just over a kilometre. Guests choose their own pace.

At the Hideaway: the Gingerbread House (bake and decorate your own cookies), Elf School (handmade Christmas crafts), Seita Stone (solve the elves’ word mystery), the Hut of Knowledge (stories and traditions) and the toboggan hill.

    Santa’s new home

The walk continues to Santa’s new home: office, kitchen, bedroom and wardrobe of travel costumes. A secret door leads to the History Room, where the evolution of toys comes alive. The final space is an audiovisual exhibition where a talking tree shares ancient stories and elvish legends.

    Please note

This program does not include a meeting with Santa Claus or a visit to the reindeer fence. Both are available in the Santa’s Workshop program.

    F.A.Q.

No. This program visits Santa’s new home as a walk-through exhibition but does not include a personal meeting with Santa. See Santa’s Workshop if you want both.

    • Is the reindeer fence included?

No. The reindeer fence and lichen feeding are not included in this program. They are included in Santa’s Workshop.

    • How long is the walk?
