Elves´ Workshop in Elves Village, Levi

Spend a festive day in the heart of Elves Village, where storytelling, creativity, and Christmas magic come together! The Elves Workshop program is perfect for families and groups who want to experience holiday traditions, outdoor fun, and Lappish charm — all in one unforgettable visit.

Your day begins at the Visitor Center, where the friendly elves will welcome you and hand out your secret map of Tonttula. This map guides you along the Elves’ Paths, leading to a series of magical locations hidden within the snow-covered forest.

You’ll determine your own pace: the shortest route to the Elves Hideaway is about 500 meters, while the longer adventure trail offers a refreshing 1-kilometer walk through enchanting Arctic scenery.

At the Elves Hideaway, the adventure begins!

• At the Gingerbread House, you’ll bake and decorate your own festive cookies
• In the Elf School, you'll create handmade Christmas crafts
• At the Seita Stone, you’ll solve a mystery word puzzle left behind by the elves
• See the elves’ loyal reindeer relaxing in their peaceful enclosure
• Slide down the elves' toboggan hill — perfect for snowy fun!

Then, step into the magical world of Santa Claus’s new mountain home. You can explore his office, kitchen, and wardrobe filled with outfits from around the world. Discover the History Room, where the evolution of toys comes to life, and continue to the audiovisual exhibition where a talking tree shares ancient stories and elvish legends.

Each participating child receives a personal Elf Certificate — and you’ll have plenty of time to take adorable family photos along the way!

Before leaving, visit the souvenir shop to bring a piece of Christmas magic home. And don’t miss the café, where you can enjoy rice porridge made by Mrs. Claus and taste delightful ice cream from the elves’ own factory.

Important remarks

Registration

Please register upon arrival at the Visitor Center in Elves Village, where you’ll receive the secret map of Tonttula and instructions for your group visit.

Path Length

• The shortest walk to the Elves Hideaway is approx. 500 meters
• The longer adventure trail is approx. 1 kilometer

Additional Notes

• Program duration is approximate. Feel free to arrive early or stay after to enjoy Tonttula’s restaurant and café services
• Tobogganing and being around animals is at your own risk
• Children are always under the responsibility of their accompanying adult
• We reserve the right to make changes to program content or pricing

*Transportation

Transportation from Levi is not included in the price of our tour.
Private transportation can be added separately during the booking process. Prices are given per car for return transfer:

Minivan (1-8 pers) - 100€,  Sprinter (9-19 pers) - 250 €, Coach (20-53 pers) - 400 €

Please note: Thermal clothing is not provided as part of this program.

If needed, warm winter clothing can be rented separately from Safarimarket in Levi center.

Recommendation

We recommend wearing warm winter clothing. It can be rented separately before the departure from the Safarimarket office in Levi center.  

Cancellation Policy

• We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 7 days or less before the event
• We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled 21 days or less before the event
• We will charge a cancellation fee of 10% if booking is cancelled 365 days or less before the event
