Snow Village Lainio tour with Ice Restaurant Dinner (Levi)

The evening version of the Snow Village visit, with a 3-course dinner in the ice restaurant included. On arrival, guests go directly to the restaurant — ice tables, ice chairs, walls of sculpted snow and carved ice, temperature a steady -6°C (21°F). The dinner is pre-booked and the table reserved as part of this tour. After dinner, the visit continues with a guided tour of the Snow Village exhibition, warm berry juice in the ice bar, and free time to explore independently before the return to Levi.

Lainio Snow Village is constructed entirely from snow and ice each November and is gone by spring. The theme changes annually. The 2026–2027 theme is to be confirmed.

Ice restaurant menu (from 2025–2026 season):

Starters

• Lapland delicacies: reindeer, northern fish, small farm cheese, vegetables and berries, tapas-style. L/G

• Cauliflower soup: apple and Västerbotten cheese. L/G

• Scallops: citrus, green pea, coriander. L/G

Mains

• Reindeer two ways: smoked lingonberry sauce and cauliflower. L/G

• Sautéed reindeer: mashed potatoes, pickled cucumbers and lingonberries. L/G

• Fried pike perch from the Arctic Circle: beurre blanc, carrot and mustard seeds. L/G

• Puikula potato gnocchi: spruce tip cream, roasted vegetables and Västerbotten cheese. L/G (vegan version available)

• Lapland Hotel salad: crispy salad, pickled carrots and red onions, deep-fried capers and cucumbers with sesame dressing. L/G or M/G

Children’s mains

• Sausages with French fries. L/G

• Sautéed reindeer with potato purée. L/G

• Chicken nuggets with French fries. L

Desserts

• Snowball: lingonberry, white chocolate, spruce tips. L/G

Warm winter clothing: Not included. Available to rent from Safarimarket, Levi centre at €10. Allow at least 20 minutes before departure if renting.

Additional drinks: Alcoholic and other drinks in the ice bar or restaurant at extra cost.

Pickup: Free pick-up and drop-off from several designated locations in the Levi area.
