Polaarinen yö
Joulukuun ja tammikuun välinen aika, jolloin aurinko ei paista lainkaan ja koko päivä koostuu hämärästä.
Päivä klo 10-15 on kuitenkin suhteellisen kevyt. Lisäksi valkoinen lumi heijastaa valoa, mikä tekee päivästä hieman kevyemmän. Tämä on hämmästyttävän hehkuvan sinipunaisen auringonlaskun aika! Joka päivä noin 15 minuutin ajan tulee niin sanottu "sininen hetki", kun taivas ja lumi näyttävät sinisiltä. Tämän näet vain pohjoisessa!

Polaaripäivä
Lapin kesällä on erityinen viehätys. Toukokuun puolivälistä elokuun loppuun aurinko ei laske lainkaan. Samalla se ei pala, vaan loistaa aivan oikein, jotta voit kävellä ja nauttia luonnosta sekä päivällä että yöllä.
