10:05 Scenic bus waits for you for a travel from Voss through scenic western mountain terrain, fruit and farmland by the ford to Ulvik, situated at the north end of the Ulvikafjord, an arm of the Hardangerfjord. Ulvik is surrounded by high mountains, and the mountains facing the fjords have spectacular steep faces. This is the heart of Norway’s apple-growing region and numerous and exotic craft apple ciders are produced and sold here. The small, peaceful town affords wonderful views up the fjord, set in the heart of stunning mountainous countryside dotted with farmsteads.
11:15 The fjord cruise on the Hardangerfjord from Ulvik to Eidfjord gives you a total experience of the area's beauty and you get to visit the charming village of Eidfjord where there is a short distance between the fjord and the mountains.
11:45 In Eidfjord you join in on a sightseeing trip by bus to the Norwegian Nature Center Hardanger and Vøringsfossen, Norway's largest waterfall. The new lookout points by the Vøringfossen can take the breath away from everyone!
Vøringsfossen is considered to be one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Norway and with a fall of 182 meters, it is a spectacular sight to watch the foaming water that flows down from Hardangervidda mountain plateau and into Måbødalen valley. In 2020 opened a unique stair bridge over the waterfall which makes it possible to force the high canyon in 99 steps, a walk that guaranteed will give you butterflies in your tummy. The new bridge connects Fossetromma and Fossli, and is part of the project Norwegian Scenic Routes where untraditional architecture is combined with beautiful nature.
