  • Idyllically located on an island outside Bergen, you will find one of the most exotic attractions in the archipelago of Western Norway. Cornelius is one of Scandinavia's most prestigiously seafood restaurants. Inspired by the weather of the day and the raw beauty of the local fjords, Cornelius serves a Meteorological Menu, prepared using innovative culinary techniques and with a genuine passion for seafood.

    We depart from Bergen city center by the private Princess 50 yacht, watching the UNESCO World Heritage Site Bryggen from the seaside with the beautiful backdrop of the seven mountains surrounding the city, including Mount Fløyen and Mount Ulriken. We then slowly cruise out the fjords from Bergen, cruise takes about 1 hour each way.
    The scenery changes gradually from when we leave the second largest city in Norway, passing the suburbs, to when we arrive at the small island with the restaurant. The atmosphere shifts from busy city life to a quiet and pristine landscape and surroundings.
    Enjoy the trip from the flybridge, with a panoramic view, or from the salon or the deck. Enjoy the quietness and nice nature during this cruise. Snacks and refreshments included.
    The yacht waits for you to take back to Bergen when finished.

    3-course meteorological seafood lunch menu (11:30-14:30)
    5-course meteorological seafood dinner menu (18:00-22:30)

    Inspired by the raw beauty of the local fjords. Offering a delicious variety of the seafood from the West coast. Tailored by the chefs on a daily basis. Based on the weather of the day and what is caught by the local fishermen. All dishes are prepared using innovative culinary techniques and with a genuine passion for seafood. On the Meteorological Menu you get to taste both shellfish and fish in addition to a seasonal desert.

    Certified for 12 persons.
    Length 15m, beam 4.5m, draught 1.2m. Engine 1000hp, cruising speed 5-20 knots.
    Inside lounge, deck lounge, panoramic flybridge, 3 cabins (two cabins with queen size bed and one cabin with bunk bed), 2 bathrooms, heating, air conditioning, kitchen, coffee machine, WiFi, TV, audio system.
