Since the 1970s, this area of Helsinki has been listed as an important historical heritage after the city almost demolished it and built up a stone jungle.
Here Helsinki is more like a movie set. Exquisite, colorful wooden houses with an attic, cozy front porches and front gardens. All 120 houses in the district are built in the style of Scandinavian classicism and in the complex resemble an English garden city. Their courtyards keep many interesting stories about the city of the last century.
This romantic area resembles the multicolored Montpensier and is extremely photogenic, but without a guide, it can easily remain in the memory of a silent bright picture.
