Levi Classic Snowmobile Safari (Levi)
A 2.5-hour guided snowmobile safari operating daily with departures at 09:15 and 13:45, Nov–Apr, in three seasonal pricing periods. Suitable for families with children from age 3. Drivers must be 18+ with a valid driving licence.
The route combines public marked snowmobile trails with private land sections accessible only to STG guests, covering snow-covered forest and frozen lakes in the shadow of Levi fell. Average speed with a sleigh in use: 20–25 km/h; without a sleigh: 30–45 km/h. Midway stop for a hot drink before the return.
Standard price covers one seat on a shared snowmobile (two persons per machine); drivers and passengers may swap halfway. Solo supplement available. Adults may opt to ride in a sleigh instead — adult price applies. Children under 130 cm ride in a guide-pulled sleigh; child price applies regardless of height. Children over 130 cm who can reach the footrests may ride behind an adult driver at adult price.
December departures: The 09:15 departure sets off in the pre-dawn quiet and rides into available natural light. The 13:45 departure sets off as the short December day fades into kaamos — the soft blue Arctic light of the polar night. Both are valid choices; the light conditions differ significantly.
Snowmobile disclaimer: Clients are liable for damage to snowmobiles. Accident insurance included with €950 deductible per driver; waiver (€35) reduces to €350. If a driver fails to follow Finnish Road Traffic Act or guide’s instructions, all damages must be paid in full. Cancelled below -35°C (-31°F) — full refund or rescheduling. With children: minimum temperature -25°C (-13°F); between -25°C and -35°C safaris may be modified.
Medical: Not recommended for pregnant women or people with back or hip problems. Guests with heart disease, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy or other relevant conditions should consult a medical professional before participating.

Important remarks
Drivers: Must be 18+ with a valid driving licence (categories B, T, A1 or A, EU/EEA or Geneva/Vienna Convention countries). Electronic licences not accepted. Carry licence on the safari.
Children: Ages 3–12. Under 130 cm in the guide-pulled sleigh. Over 130 cm may ride behind an adult driver at adult price.
Alcohol: Zero tolerance. Drivers may be breathalysed before departure. No refund if denied participation.
Insurance: €950 deductible per driver. Waiver (€35) reduces to €350 — purchase at booking or before departure.
Weather: Cancelled below -35°C (-31°F); full refund or rescheduling. With children: minimum -25°C (-13°F); modifications possible between -25°C and -35°C.
Pickup: Free pick-up and drop-off from several designated locations in the Levi area.

- Wear thermal base layers under the provided suit.
- Two pairs of socks recommended — thick wool on top.

Cancellation Policy
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 7 days or less before the event
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled 21 days or less before the event
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 10% if booking is cancelled 365 days or less before the event
