Daytime Snowmobile Safari with Lunch in Wilderness Hut (adults only) (Levi)
A 3-hour afternoon snowmobile safari for adults only, operating Dec 1 – Apr 15 in three seasonal pricing periods. No children or sleigh. Drivers must be 18+ with a valid driving licence, which must be carried on the safari.
The route follows a mix of public marked trails and private land sections accessible only to STG guests. Standard price covers one seat on a shared snowmobile (two persons per machine); drivers and passengers may swap halfway. Solo supplement available on request. If the group has an odd number of adults, the unpaired person must purchase a solo supplement or share with another unmatched participant; if no match is available, the unpaired participant cannot join.
Midway through the afternoon, the group stops at a private wilderness kota with an open fire. Campfire lunch: grilled reindeer sausage, Finnish pancakes with Arctic berry jam, hot drink. The kota is privately reserved — no other groups share the stop.
Snowmobile disclaimer: Clients are liable for damage to snowmobiles. Accident insurance included with €950 deductible per driver; waiver (€35) reduces to €350, purchased at booking or before departure. If a driver fails to follow Finnish Road Traffic Act or guide’s instructions, all damages must be paid in full — waivers and deductibles do not apply. Safaris are cancelled below -35°C (-31°F); full refund or rescheduling. STG reserve the right to adjust routes, schedules or durations due to weather, safety or participant health.
Medical: Snowmobiling is not recommended for pregnant women or people with back or hip problems. Guests with heart disease, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy or other relevant conditions should consult a medical professional before participating.
Responsibility waiver: Activity provider - Scandinavian Travel Group is not responsible for changes or disruptions affecting this program for whatever reason. No refund is due for circumstances beyond our control.

Adults only: No children or sleigh on this safari.
Drivers: Must be 18+ with a valid driving licence (categories B, T, A1 or A, EU/EEA or Geneva/Vienna Convention countries). Electronic licences not accepted. Carry licence on the safari — police patrols operate on snowmobile trails.
Alcohol: Zero tolerance. Drivers may be breathalysed before departure. Participation denied if under the influence; no refund.
Insurance: €950 deductible per driver. Waiver (€35) reduces to €350 — purchase at booking or before departure.
Weather cancellation: Below -35°C (-31°F). Full refund or rescheduling.
Season: Dec 1 – Apr 15. Three pricing periods — confirm at booking.
Pickup: Free pick-up and drop-off from several designated locations in the Levi area.

- We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 7 days or less before the event
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled 21 days or less before the event
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 10% if booking is cancelled 365 days or less before the event
