The unlimited distance version of the Northern Lights Guarantee Tour. No distance cap, no fixed end time — the driver covers as many kilometres as conditions require and stays out until the night has been fully tested. Where the standard guarantee tour covers up to 200 km, this tour has no limit: if clear sky is 300 km away, the tour drives 300 km. Operating Oct 1 – Apr 15.

The 70% refund guarantee applies if no aurora is seen at all during the tour. A sighting counts as successful if the aurora is visible to the naked eye, through the professional camera, or through a smartphone in night mode — even faint. Full terms are in the Acknowledgement & Acceptance of Tour Conditions document, available at booking. If conditions make a sighting genuinely impossible before departure, the tour is cancelled with a full refund.

Departure is confirmed no later than 16:00 on the day; the tour starts between 16:00 and 21:00; return time is open-ended. Guests must be flexible, well-rested and available for a potentially long night. Warm winter clothing is included and collected at Safarimarket. The driver carries a professional camera; photos are processed overnight and delivered by download link the following day.

Stopovers involve extended outdoor standing in Arctic conditions; uneven or snowy terrain is possible. Not suitable for families with small children, seniors with limited mobility, pregnant guests or guests with relevant medical conditions.

Child price applies for ages 2–11. Children under 2: fixed rate applies.

Responsibility waiver: Activity provider - Scandinavian Travel Group is not responsible for weather or sky conditions on any given night. No refund is due for circumstances beyond our control, except as specified in the 70% guarantee terms.

Important remarks

Distance & duration: No cap on distance or time. The driver goes as far and stays out as long as conditions require.

The 70% guarantee: Applies if no aurora is seen at all. Any visible sighting — naked eye, professional camera or smartphone night mode, however faint — counts as successful. Full terms in the Acknowledgement & Acceptance of Tour Conditions document.

Recommendation

• Warm winter clothing is provided — collect at Safarimarket at least 20 minutes before your scheduled departure. 
• Dress in thermal base layers underneath for warmth during extended outdoor stops. 
• Bring something to eat and drink for the road, as this tour can run significantly longer than a standard evening.

Cancellation Policy

• We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 7 days or less before the event
• We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled 21 days or less before the event
• We will charge a cancellation fee of 10% if booking is cancelled 365 days or less before the event
