Northern Lights Hunt by Car, Levi — 2-hour aurora search
A 2-hour aurora hunt by minivan or minibus, operating Oct 1 – Apr 15. The driver heads up to 50 km from Levi into open terrain with minimal light pollution and an unobstructed northern horizon, adjusting the route in real time based on sky conditions. The tour makes stops at the best available viewing positions on the night. Warm berry juice and gingerbread cookies are served during a stop.
The route is not fixed in advance. The driver reads live conditions — cloud movement, wind direction, horizon openings — and positions the vehicle accordingly. Northern lights sightings cannot be guaranteed on any tour; this program improves viewing conditions by moving clear of Levi’s light pollution and targeting open terrain within a 50 km radius.
Child price applies for ages 2–11. Children under 2: fixed rate applies.

Northern lights: Cannot be guaranteed. Route is adjusted in real time based on conditions within a 50 km radius of Levi.
Route: Not fixed in advance. Driver selects viewing positions based on live sky and weather conditions.
Pickup: Free pick-up and drop-off from several designated locations in the Levi area.

Warm winter clothing: Not included. Stops involve standing outside in cold conditions. Available to rent from Safarimarket, Levi centre. Allow at least 20 minutes before departure if renting.
Recommendation
- Wear warm winter clothing. Temperatures inside the vehicle are comfortable, but stops involve standing outside in the cold for extended periods.
- Thermal layers, insulated boots and gloves are essential.
- Clothing can be rented from the Safarimarket office in Levi centre at extra charge. Arrive at least 20 minutes before departure if you need rental clothing.
Cancellation Policy
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 7 days or less before the event
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled 21 days or less before the event
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 10% if booking is cancelled 365 days or less before the event
