Welcome to Polarman’s camp, our exclusive and private place just outside Levi without tourist buzz and with unobstructed almost 360⁰ sky views, no light pollution and warm Aurora dome shelter!
Our transfer from Levi will take about 10 minutes. Upon arrival, the Polarman will welcome you inside the private camp area, get you seated at the open fire on the reindeer skin and introduce you to the amenities and attractions included in your entrance ticket.
Polarman will invite you to follow him for the mysterious Aurora Hunt experience on a beautiful walk along the river. In the autumn time, you have a chance to enjoy so-called double Aurora through the reflection in the river. If we spot the Northern Lights, we will use our professional camera with sensitive matrix to capture the beautiful moment with you, Lights and arctic nature in the background.
Polarman will then invite you inside our warm Aurora dome. The temperature inside stays +15 degrees or higher. You can sit comfortably and watch our blazing fireplace, while we serve you warm drinks and cookies.
It's movie time! Enjoy a unique 20-minute movie on a big screen that will show you 7 different seasons of Lapland and Northern Lights. Polarman tells you some interesting stories and legends about this natural phenomenon and arctic life.
Finally, it’s time for an outdoor Lappish BBQ experience! Sit comfortably around the open firepit while we offer you sausages on a stick to grill on the fire, followed by marshmallows.
We share more interesting stories about the arctic life, have a good laugh together and enjoy watching the sky.
Throughout the program our staff will keep an eye on the sky. As soon as we spot an indication of Aurora, we’ll call you so we can enjoy the most fascinating show of Arctic nature, and our staff will take photos of the Northern lights with you in front. After the program we will process the photos and will send them to you by email.
If you feel cold at any time during the program, you can always find shelter and warm up inside the Aurora dome, have some more hot drinks and more cookies.

- Transportation from Levi (choose pick up from Scandinavian Travel Group / Safarimarket if you are unsure of your accommodation location)
- Entrance ticket to Polarman’s camp Live. Ticket includes using all available attractions and amenities at the private camp area during an approximate time of 2,5 hours on the spot:
- Aurora dome: 6m warm glamping tent with reindeer skins seating area, fireplace, cozy candle lightning
- Warm drinks: berry juice or Magic drink, water, gingerbread cookies
- Watching movie on a big screen inside the Aurora dome
- Using outdoor firepits sitting area: Aurora watching, listening to stories about Lappish nature and Northern Lights, Lappish BBQ (grilling pork sausages and marshmallows)
- Photo session using professional camera, sending photos to our guest by email
- Arctic toilet available

- Although Northern Lights sightings can never be guaranteed, this tour offers one of the best chances to see the Aurora borealis in Levi. You'll enjoy an unforgettable evening under the Arctic sky, surrounded by the magic of Lapland’s winter wilderness.
- Please note that thermal clothing is not provided for this program. It can be rented separately from the Safarimarket office in Levi center.
- Sausages menu: pork (traditional Finnish sausage). Chicken, vegetarian or vegan can be ordered on request at the additional charge.
- No charge for pick-up and drop-off from/to the set locations in Levi

We recommend wearing warm winter clothing. It can be rented separately before the departure from Safarimarket office in Levi center at extra charge. If you want to rent the clothing, please be at least 20 min before pick up time to get dressed.
