We start our tour in Levi, from where we drive north to lake Kivijärvi, close to the scenery of the Ylläs-Pallastunturi National Park. This is a private area and the whole place is for our exclusive use.
During the hike you can explore the nearby forest and the ice at your leisure. You can pick berries and mushrooms, go swimming, rowing or just sit and enjoy the peace and quiet of a Lapland summer while admiring the mountain scenery. If you like, you can try your hand at fishing with a worm gong or a fishing rod. Or we can go together to see the fish traps. The clear Kivijärvi is home to a wide variety of fishes and you can easily reach the fishing grounds by rowing boat. We bring all the equipment you need for fishing, but you can also bring your own.
Our guide will make a campfire on the shore. If you get hungry, you can grill sausages and enjoy a cup of coffee. Tasty sandwiches are also available. If Ahti is serving his bounty, you can take the fish on board to take home. We may be able to cook the fish on the campfire if time permits.

Recommendation
Weather-appropriate clothing, we recommend you bring warm clothes. If you wish, bring your own fishing gear, swimming gear (incl. towel, swimsuit). You can also bring your own snacks and drinks.

Cancellation Policy
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 7 days or less before the event
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled 14 days or less before the event
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 20% if booking is cancelled 21 days or less before the event
