Lapland as a color palette🎨 Every season in Lapland is quite different in appearance, and uniquely rich in colors, lights and tones! 🔸Summer🌿🌞 Polar Day means White Nights. The sun shines round the clock and gives a sea of flowers and shades. The nature of the north is amazing, as soon as the snow melts, it instantly blooms with bright green spruces, blueberry flowers, various mosses and lichens. During the summer solstice season in the Land of Lakes and Rivers panoramic views from the hills are particularly beautiful, the midnight sun reflects on the surface of rivers and lakes and gives the impression that the sky is twice as large. 🔸Autumn🍁🍂 Golden Time (Ruska🇫🇮) is the second most popular season in Lapland after Christmas. People from all over the world come to see the variety of colors from the fells or hills. At night, the temperature drops sharply, and tree leaves change color incredibly fast. Also October is the peak of the northern lights season, when you can see them not only in the sky, but also in the reflection of water! And, of course, the first white snowflakes on red and yellow are creating a wonderful landscape contrast! 🔸Winter❄️☃️ The white color of snow is amazing. It changes surrounding objects appearance depending on the month and time of the day! Pink, orange shades at sunset and sunrise gives excellent opportunities to take great photos. During the polar night snow reflects the skylight in blue color, so the Finns call this period «blue time» (in Finnish Sininen aika🇫🇮 or kaamos). Northern Lights or Aurora sets the sky colors in motion so uniquely every time, that even locals cannot stop enjoying this phenomena! During Christmas season Finns set on thousands of white, blue and read candle lights to decorate their houses, and Christmas trees. Holiday resorts offer a visitor a truly amazing Christmas holiday feeling. 🔸Spring🌱🌿 Time of contrasts. Plants awaken from winter hibernation in the snow! Where there’s light, there’s more color. Green islands are on a white snow background. Red lingonberry berries on frozen ice stones in the sun - all this creates incredible combinations! What’s your favorite season of the year?
