You and your travel companions will be seated in a large sled driven by one of our professional guides. So all you have to do is sit back relax and enjoy the arctic wilderness at night.
Half-way we stop at our break point situated on a frozen swamp, around the open fire, we serve hot chocolate and roast some sausages and marshmallows. The open swamps gives you the best opportunity to witness the night sky in all its glory, as we hope for a glimpse of the northern lights.
If there is no activity in the night sky, don't worry! Our guide will have plenty of stories to tell about working with sled dogs.
- Grilling sausages and marshmallow, hot chocolate around open fire
- Warm winter clothing
For family safaris, please always bear in mind that one sledge can take max. 2 adults + 1 child (under 7 y.o.) or 2 adults + 2 small children (3-5 y.o.).
Final decision about seating is taken by the host on the spot, as it can depend on participants weight, height, etc.
We strongly recommend wearing warm winter clothing.
We recommend applying non-water-based winter cream for face and cover any open skin areas.
Please take off your gloves/mittens when touching the huskies. They love to play with gloves and might tear them easily.
Do not be afraid of the dogs as they’re genetically friendly to people.
Please do not feed the dogs.
